The Apothecary Diaries is getting a distinct new take on its lead character through Good Smile's limited convention format. Confirmed via Good Smile's official Good Smile Fes 2026 announcement, the Nendoroid Basic Maomao figure is priced at 3,900 JPY as a limited release, with preorders opening June 6, 2026 through Good Smile's official website.
This is a confirmed, priced limited release, so here's what's included.
Good Smile's official announcement confirms the following:
Good Smile has already released a standard Nendoroid Maomao and a Garden Party Ver. variant, so this Basic release's folded-arms pose gives collectors a genuinely distinct display option rather than a simple repaint or reissue of an existing sculpt. The "Basic" naming alongside the Fes-exclusive framing suggests this is intended as a simpler, pose-focused alternative to the more elaborate Garden Party version.
Because this release is tied specifically to Good Smile Fes 2026 rather than a standard ongoing preorder window, availability is likely to be more restricted than Good Smile's mainline Nendoroid releases, and collectors who miss the initial preorder period should expect fewer restock opportunities than with a standard catalog figure.
For displaying this folded-arms variant alongside other Apothecary Diaries figures, EVORETRO's acrylic display risers add tiered shelf space for a growing collection.
For protecting the figure's interchangeable parts between display changes, EVORETRO's acrylic modular case keeps smaller components organized.
The Apothecary Diaries' popularity has translated into sustained merchandise demand for Maomao specifically, and Good Smile's decision to release a third distinct Nendoroid version of the character, following the standard and Garden Party releases, reflects that continued collector interest rather than typical single-figure treatment most anime leads receive.
Given the Fes-exclusive framing, collectors who want this specific folded-arms variant should prioritize the June 6 preorder window rather than waiting, since limited convention-tied releases like this are less likely to see extended restocks compared to Good Smile's standard catalog figures.

A folded-arms pose not used in Good Smile's other existing Maomao Nendoroid releases.
No, it's a limited release tied specifically to Good Smile Fes 2026.
Nendoroid Basic Maomao gives Apothecary Diaries collectors a genuinely distinct pose option beyond Good Smile's existing releases, tied to a limited convention window. Acting during the June 6 preorder period is the safest way to secure this specific variant.
Having display risers and a modular case ready keeps the figure properly organized once it arrives.
